The Meaning of a Name

My name is my name, and I would not have it any other way. It is an old, stone age, battle worn name. It has held many titles in its lifetime, like a soldier at war.
Alexander in Ancient Greece, meant leader and protector of men. This follows the life of the great general Alexander of Macedonia. His empire was one of the biggest the world had ever known, and he made sure every person knew kis name. this was hundreds of years ago.
More recently, Alexander Graham Bell created the telephone. He set in motion a chain of events that led up to what our communication capabilities are today. He was a brilliant man, and one day, I hope to be just as bright, if not brighter, the he was.
These men, and many more, have left a legacy that will be hard to live up to. That said, my name is a badge of honor. It displays my personality, and my life. It is my name, and I would not have it any other way. I am Alexander, and I will be, forever.
