Importance of Origins

    The place that is most important to me is my hometown. My hometown is Columbus.
    This place is most important to me, because this is where my life began. Although I have lived in Lorain for most of my life, Columbus is still my home. Columbus and I have a special bond that has stood, and will stand, the test of time.
    Columbus is a lot like Lorain, buy is also extremely different in many ways. Columbus has plenty of residential area, like Lorain, but there is also plenty more factories than in Lorain. Lorain is a city centered on commercial business. Whereas Columbus is a industrially centered city.
    I have spent almost half of my life in Columbus. I can remember all of the stores there that don't exist here. My favorite shop was Kroger. Once, there was an extremely dangerous hail storm, and I hid in there for nearly half an hour, and hung out with my uncle while he was on break.
    Columbus was a city that shaped who I am today. One day, I hope to return and have the experiences I had as a child.
